Privacy Statement
This is a courtesy translation of Het Sieraad's Privacy Statement; the Dutch version is legally binding.
This Privacy Statement describes how Het Sieraad handles the personal information of visitors to its website hetsieraad.nl and of buyers of admission tickets for events organised (or co-organised) by Het Sieraad (hereinafter "the user").
By using this website and/or by providing data to Het Sieraad through this website, you agree to the terms of Het Sieraad's privacy policy as described here.
Het Sieraad handles your personal data with care. It is processed in accordance with the requirements of privacy legislation and other applicable laws and regulations. Het Sieraad also takes appropriate security measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.
WHICH DATA
Het Sieraad collects and records user data, including — among other things — first and last name, address details, e-mail address, (mobile) phone number, date of birth, gender, (profile) photos, bank details, IP address and music taste by genre.
If you apply for a job through our site, we keep the information you provide on file for one year. Before that period expires, Het Sieraad may contact you to ask for your consent to extend it by the same period.
Het Sieraad does not intend to collect special categories of personal data (such as data about political preferences or religious beliefs) through this website. If you nevertheless provide us with special personal data unsolicited, please note that by doing so you (expressly) consent to our use of that data.
DATA FROM THIRD PARTIES
Het Sieraad uses third parties in its services, such as parties with whom programmes are organised jointly and parties through whom tickets are sold. Where personal data is obtained from or through these third parties, Het Sieraad exercises the same care as if it had collected that data itself. Data that may be obtained from a third party includes:
- data collected via the websites of parties we collaborate with on programming;
- data collected via third-party websites in the online sale of admission tickets for concerts and events organised by us;
- data obtained in the sale of admission tickets through other points of sale.
THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES
This Privacy Statement does not apply to third-party websites, such as those of sponsors, labels or partners of Het Sieraad. Please visit the relevant websites for their privacy policies. Het Sieraad is not responsible for the privacy policies of those other parties, which may differ significantly from this Privacy Statement.
PURPOSES
Het Sieraad may use user data, among other things:
- to perform its services around the organisation of concerts, club nights and other (affiliated) events, in the broadest sense;

- to improve its services (for example through surveys);
- to record visitor data for (parts of) its website(s);

If you no longer wish to receive messages from Het Sieraad, you can unsubscribe. When you are asked to take part in market research, Het Sieraad will inform you about the data you provide for that research.
SHARING OF DATA
Het Sieraad may provide or share the user's personal data with companies affiliated with Het Sieraad, with parties Het Sieraad engages in the performance of its services, and with parties to whom Het Sieraad considers it necessary or desirable to provide this data. We may also disclose your personal data to third parties where we are legally required to do so.
CHANGING YOUR DATA
You can always request access to your data and, where necessary, have it changed or deleted. There are three ways to do this:
- update your account with our ticket partner yourself;
- log in via the web link at the bottom of every Het Sieraad mailing to change or delete your newsletter details;
- send us a written request for access to your personal data and to have it changed, supplemented or deleted.
For the latter, send your request together with a copy of your valid proof of identity to: Het Sieraad, Postjesweg 1, 1057 DT Amsterdam.
At the bottom of every e-mail or text message from Het Sieraad you can also unsubscribe from the mailing list.
SECURITY & RETENTION
Het Sieraad does its utmost to keep your information secure. Only persons for whom this is necessary or customary by virtue of their role are given access to the systems in which user data is stored. Those systems are protected by security systems and access codes.
We retain the personal data you provide to us (including in the cloud) for as long as is necessary given the nature of the underlying contact. This varies per purpose for which we need your data and per statutory retention obligation.
Some data resulting from visits to hetsieraad.nl is retained permanently, but only anonymously. That data can never be traced back to a person or organisation.
