JP Enfant

Techno

Jan Pieter Kind, who grew up in Breda and made his name in Amsterdam. The collective Les Enfants Terribles was formative, taking him from DJ to curator and label head, and residencies at Trouw and later De School cemented his place in the scene. His releases on LET Recordings, DGTL and a.r.t.less made his name synonymous with timeless, sophisticated techno: dubbed, steaming and slightly melancholic, with occasional excursions into experimental and bass. He has played Berghain, fabric, Bassiani, Awakenings and Melt!.
